Having been recently rennovated in 2019, Stravaig is a spacious family property in Ardnastang, a peaceful settlement on the outskirts of the neighbouring village of Strontian on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Sheltered on a hill, above Loch Sunart, the house is surrounded by natures landscape and commands fantastic views of the loch and mountains beyond. The property can sleep 6/7 people and is arranged on two levels, all rooms enjoy views onto the surrounding garden or out towards Loch Sunart. On the ground floor there is a bright open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, a well-equipped utility room, WC, separate dining room and a quiet, cosy lounge for reading & relaxing. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family sized bathroom. The King-size master bedroom benefits from its own en-suite facilities, a double bedroom with spacious built in wardrobe and a family room complete with a small double and a single bed. It has its own large garden which is well fenced off, perfect for children and pets to play safely. The area has so much to offer holidaymakers including unspoilt beaches, dramatic scenery and plenty of history. If you are hoping to see the wildlife then a visit to the popular hide at Ardery is a must, seals, otters and golden eagles are often spotted. There are a wide range of activities such as mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, shooting, and dolphin and whale watching. Ardnamurchan distillery, the Ardnamurchan lighthouse, which is the most westerly point in Britain, and Sanna Bay with its pristine beach, are all a short drive away. The village of Strontian offers good local services, and there is a variety of hotels to choose from, which provide good dining opportunities.

Electric range cooker, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Sky Freeview, iPod dock, WiFi and a selection of books and games. Fuel & power are included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair are available upon request. There is ample off road private parking. Enclosed lawned garden. The house is strictly no smoking. Pets are welcome (maximum of 2 dogs or 2 house cats). Shops & restaurants are 5 minutes drive away. There is a beach 5 minutes walk away. Check-in time is from 4pm. Check-out time is no later than10am.
